It was snowy and cold out this afternoon — making it feel like the perfect time to do a crafting hour. I let B practice using his safety scissors while I prepped a few of the items.
First, I used two sheets of green construction paper, traced on some jagged edges and then cut them out to make a tree shape. I then cut out several yellow and red circles for our ornaments. Finally, I drew and cut out a yellow star.
What you need:
- construction paper
- glue stick
- pom poms (optional)
What I did:
I did the prep work as lined out above and then I simply would put a dab of glue stick on each ornament and let B stick them where he pleased. We then got out a few pom poms and added a rolled up piece of scotch tape to the back and he did the same. I worked on making a few packages for him to stick to the glass while he enjoyed experimenting with the glue stick.
